PBS recently did a special on the emerging church and alternative worship gatherings. It was a two part series for their Religion & Ethics Newsweekly show. It was pretty interesting. I’ll post the links to the interview transcripts and the videos that were shown on PBS.

i thought that they did a good job with it, good to see some good exposure to all of it. maybe it will give some people hope that there is something different out there... at least that is what it did for me when i first heard of every thing that was happening.
side note - i am having the hardest time loading your site... maybe it is just me :)

I agree Natala, I think they did a pretty good job. You get a much clearer picture of the conversation when you read the full transcripts, it takes a little time but it's worth it. I especially enjoyed the transcript of McLaren talking about the over-emphasis of afterlife, and the de-emphasizing of present life in Christianity.
