I got an eleven... I thought for sure I'd be in the 30-40 range. But the questions were mostly electronics-based. If they'd asked which animal has book lungs, or if I knew the order of classification (kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species), I'd have done better.

And I, too, am at home on a Friday night, sitting next to Ted, writing about my nerd score. Not very cool, in my opinion.

"Your nerdiness is 5: Definitely not nerdy, you are probably cool."
That was fun. I wonder if they have one for how obsessive-compulsive you are. I'm sure I'd score high.

The very moment I hit "Publish your comment" I realized that the very fact that I was putting this on a website was proof enough that I was in fact A NERD!!!!

That's OK, nerds always win.... haven't you seen "revenge of the nerds"????

I thought I would be higher, but I am proud to say that I am nerdier than you all - 38 baby!

I am posting under Thomas's name becasue I am not nerdy enough to have my own blog id. I only got a 6. It told me that I am not nerdy, probably cool. I'll take that. Somebodies got to balance out this marriage.

Well I scored 40, so Thomas, I got you there. Yet I am only "lightly nerdy" and had they asked me if I needed a biohazard sign in my kitchen, I probably would have said yes :)

Well... any guesses on my score?

83. Yeah, that's right, 83rd percentile.

"What does this mean? Your nerdiness is: High-Level Nerd. You are definitely MIT material, apply now!!!"

Hehe, that's ironic... MIT is (and has been) one of those potential options that I've had in mind for years. God's been pretty clear about telling me no, every time I ask. The first time, I decided I'd apply anyway, and my application was rejected basically because it got routed to the wrong department for the acceptance decision. (I had to call several times to find out why I was turned down; I was shocked!) I've seen some amazingly creative ways in which God has provided for people -- e.g. today my broke friend got a letter from his ISP, who said that they were waiving his business' $600 fees for this month, just for being a loyal customer. An amazing way for God to give a gift. And on the other side of the coin, the MIT situation was one of the most creative ways I've seen God shut a door. Now I usually just listen rather than testing him. ;-)

My nerd score was 22 and I'm a "Wannabe Nard"...I guess that's pretty accurate.
