good quote from a good book

“The art of evangelism is not one to be mastered; it’s more lifestyle than duty and more natural process than calculated function of necessity. It’s God’s resounding request for His followers to participate in His story. Your spiritual, mental, and emotional involvement is key to being an engaged follower of Jesus who naturally and effortlessly shares your faith story. God has called you to participate. Will you?”

not a bad book...

not 1 of my favs either...

good quote tho...

i guess the 1 thing that i learned from watching an over abundance of tbn this past weekend which included 1 too many episodes of the way of the master, is that the minute you try to make a nifty, handy-dandy formula out of evangelism, you screw it up...

guaranteed...

everytime...

period...

our efforts to spread good news should be intentional & deliberate, but only as a natural process like breathing or passing gas...

only less stinky...

Another great quote comes to mind...

"Fart Proudly"

Benjamin Franklin

Agree totally that evangelism should be our lifestyle. Of course the problem is that most Christians never include it, or better said, never let it be who they are. I think we all need some "calculated function" in order to motivate.
